NAIDOC Week at Fed Square

NAIDOC (National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee) Week falls on the first week of July and is a time to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements and is an opportunity to recognise the contributions that Indigenous Australians make to our country and our society.

At Fed Square, we are proud to celebrate this historical week with a flag raising ceremony from 9:30-11am on 3 July and live performances at 12-3pm on 7 July. The flag raising ceremony will mark the beginning of NAIDOC Victoria and will bring together all members of the community to publicly commemorate the importance of NAIDOC week. NAIDOC in the City will be hosted by Grant Hanson (Marngrook Footy Show) and will feature performances by Soju Gang, Bart Willoughby and Tjimba, Stray Blacks to name a few.
